Neo-Mendelism

Mendelian Inheritance was published in 1866, but failed to gain support of the scientists during his life-time. In 1900, Hugo de Vries of Holland, Carl Correns of Germany and Ervick Von Tschermark of Austria have experimentally re-established Mendelian Principles independently. Their discoveries led Genetics to a new era. This is known as Neo-Mendelism.
