Features of phylum Platyhelminthes

1. Body dorsoverntally flattened like like a tape.
2. Coelom absent.
3. Specific circulatory and respiratory system absent.
4. Endoparasitic with hooks and suckers for anchorage to the host body.
5. Excretion by Flame cells, which are attached to branched excretory canals.

Examples: Fasciola, Polystoma
